Yost is a free platform that meets the housing needs of young people and university students who have chosen to pursue their academic journey in South Tyrol.
Our Mission
Yost’s mission is to make the search for housing in South Tyrol simple and affordable by connecting students and young professionals directly with property owners.
But Yost is more than just a housing service: it promotes a model of social housing based on intergenerational support — for example, seniors hosting students in exchange for small practical help, fostering solidarity and collective well-being.
Based on specific agreements with our partners, we give priority to students or young professionals who wish to move to South Tyrol, depending on the time of the request, by reserving access to the platform as explained below.
From May to October, Yost is primarily reserved for:
Students of unibz, the Conservatory, and Claudiana
From November to April, Yost is reserved for:
Students of unibz, the Conservatory, and Claudiana

We provide continuous assistance throughout the entire rental period. We’re here to answer your questions and help you resolve any issues that may arise, making the rental process smooth and worry-free.

MUA, Movimento Universitario Altoatesino, was founded in 1993 in Bolzano. We support students in every aspect of their academic journey, including access to provincial scholarships, through advisory services, preparatory courses, and educational and cultural events.
Since 2017, through Yost, we’ve been offering a practical response to the housing needs of university students in our region.
