Purpose of the Service
The M.U.A. – Movimento Universitario Altoatesino Association, through the portal yost.apartments, acts as a facilitator between supply and demand for rental housing, promoting connections between property owners or usufructuaries and Italian or foreign individuals arriving in the city of Bolzano, preferably for university studies, advanced training courses, postgraduate programs, as well as researchers and visiting professors. The M.U.A. – Movimento Universitario Altoatesino Association provides this service completely free of charge.
Regulations
Service Users
Only those who register on the yost.apartments website may access the full range of services. Registration also makes the user a member of the M.U.A. – Movimento Universitario Altoatesino Association. This is open to Italian and foreign individuals who come to the city of Bolzano for university studies, advanced training courses, postgraduate programs, as well as researchers and visiting professors, property owners or usufructuaries, regardless of age, gender, religion, social or ethnic background.
Service Usage Rules
- Anyone accessing the services of yost.apartments must behave in a manner that does not harm the image of the M.U.A. – Movimento Universitario Altoatesino Association or its initiatives.
- All users must maintain respectful, responsible behavior, showing decorum and respect for others, differing opinions, and shared spaces.
- Access to services is granted upon registration, during which personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments. Names will be added to the M.U.A. – Movimento Universitario Altoatesino database. Deletion of personal data can be requested by sending a written request to: mua@upad.it.
- Users must comply with timelines and procedures, and if necessary and agreed with staff, book an appointment. Appointments will be scheduled by M.U.A. based on availability and urgency.
- Property owners or usufructuaries who wish to use the yost.apartments service are required to:
- provide an accurate and truthful description of the property they intend to rent, including its energy rating,
- promptly notify mua@upad.it or info@yost.apartments if the property is rented through other channels so that it can be removed from the database,
- maintain a relationship of trust with tenants in compliance with the terms of the contract.
- Tenants using the “housing search” service of yost.apartments must:
- clearly and precisely specify the type of accommodation desired,
- promptly communicate any changes in housing needs to the M.U.A. staff, housemates, and the property owner,
- comply with the terms established in the lease agreement,
- use private and shared spaces, objects, and equipment respectfully and properly,
- behave with tolerance and common sense,
- strictly adhere to the payment terms and deadlines established in the contract.
- M.U.A. reserves the right to conduct inspections to verify housing conditions, safety, and hospitality, and to ensure the accuracy of any information provided, in the spirit of cooperation between parties.
- Anyone wishing to use the yost.apartments portal must strictly comply with the usage rules provided by M.U.A. staff.
- M.U.A. may temporarily suspend access to YOST services in case of non-compliance with the above rules, offering the involved parties the opportunity to present a response. If the reasons for suspension persist or if rule violations are repeated, M.U.A. may proceed unilaterally with the removal of the user from the database.
- The M.U.A. Association and the yost.apartments service cannot be held liable for the conduct of either property owners or tenants. By using the yost.apartments service, you acknowledge full understanding of how it works and release the M.U.A. Association from any responsibility.
